Philippines (December 16, 2022) – Horizon Strategies strives to provide superior Subject Matter Expert (SME) support globally to address complex and challenging problem solving across government, corporate, and academic sectors. This month, in support of the Institute of Security Governance (ISG), Rick Larson (pictured below) traveled to the Philippines to lead the support planning effort for the upcoming Balikatan exercise. Balikatan is the annual joint exercise between American and Filipino troops. The 2023 iteration projects participation of around 3,800 Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) soldiers and over 5,000 US military personnel.
