Meet Our Leadership Team
Al Batschelet co-founded Horizon Strategies, LLC in September, 2016 with his long-time military colleague and friend, William Harmon. He currently serves as the company’s CEO, managing robust business development and operations across government, corporate, and defense sectors.
As the President and Co-founder of Horizon Strategies, Bill is responsible for the development of business strategy, marketing, and operations. He manages the extensive network of experts Horizon Strategies provides for advisory, consulting and planning services.
John manages current operations for Horizon Strategies, including leadership of day-to-day corporate and business activities, company operations processes and procedures, and the integration of business and functional unit project management.
Ed manages business development activities for Horizon Strategies, including the oversight of identifying, capturing and pursuing opportunities that are designed to encourage future organizational growth.
Director of Army Services
Ken works closely with the business development, capture, transition, and operational teams to lead, develop, and deliver high-quality services and competitive proposals within the Army sector. Simultaneously, he leads and manages all delivery of service to all on-going contracts within the scope of his business unit.
Director of Accounting
Jean leads the Accounting Department. She manages day-to-day accounting activities, forecasting, financial analysis, and auditing compliance. Her responsibilities include identifying, developing, implementing long-range strategic accounting goals and policy development and enforcement.
Deni L. Adams
Director of Operations
Deni works with John to manage day-to-day business activities. She communicates directly with program managers to monitor performance and keep processes efficient and effective. She works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest client satisfaction.
