Winston-Salem, NC (July 10, 2023) – The Horizon Strategies Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its first annual scholarship award, Emily Hartman and Jeffrey Wagstaff. These recipients stood out due to their outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities, and commitment to community service.
Emily Hartman has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to academic excellence. Her impressive achievements, combined with her commitment to community service, have made her an inspiring role model for her peers. Emily plans to attend the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, and major in International Relations. She aspires to become a Foreign Service Officer and U.S. diplomat.
Jeffrey Wagstaff, a junior at Iowa State University, has exhibited remarkable leadership skills and a strong desire to effect positive change in his community as he works towards a degree in Accounting and Business Analytics. Jeffrey exemplifies qualities of a future trailblazer and is poised to make a significant impact in his chosen field.
