We would like to recognize Jessica Silva, Amber Buchanan and Cheyenne Perkins for their incredible efforts. They work in the Human Resources Command, Awards and Decorations Branch (ADB) at Fort Knox, KY and have been recognized for drastically increasing the number of resolved cases over the past three fiscal year quarters. Also of note, the team has decreased the time it takes to process their cases by over 50%. This stellar team receives congressional inquiries regarding awards and decorations related cases dating back to the World War eras. They analyze and research each case to appropriately send response letters to Congress. Their ability to improve the processes and response times sends an encouraging message to Congress and to their constituents, who deserve timely and accurate resolutions to their inquiries. Many of these inquiries are also addressed to the President of the United States, Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Army which is a testament to the level at which their work is being reviewed and scrutinized.
